Home Information Packs
From 1 June 2007 all home owners in England and Wales will need to arrange for a Home Information Pack to be prepared before putting their homes up for sale. The Packs will contain an Energy Performance Certificate, searches and legal documents, which will be mandatory. A Home Condition Report can also be included by sellers on a voluntary basis. All Home Information Packs will be issued in accordance to the Government legislation and 2006 regulations.
HIP Surveys
All Hipsurv will be carried out by a ABBE (or equivalent) qualified self-employed Home Inspector at a time suitable and agreed with the individual inspector. A Home Inspector or Hipsurv representative have the sole rights to cancell a HIP Survey, if it is deemed that a survey cannot be carried out in compliance with current Government Health and Safety Regulations.
All survey quotations/estimates provided by Hipsurv are priced and based on property size, type and condition of existing construction. They are for guidance only and are subject to change, if property details supplied to Hipsurv or their representatives are found to be incorrect.
Home Inspectors
Home Inspectors must be qualified to carry out home condition reports in accordance to the current Government regulations and hold the *ABBE Diploma in Home Inspection or equivalent. Proof of qualifications are required before Hipsurv or their partners will employ the services of a home inspector. All inspectors employed by Hipsurv and their partners are on a self-employed basis.
Therefore, Hipsurv cannot accept any liablity or be held responsible for any damages or losses incurred as a result of a home inspector failing to carry out a home condition report in accordance with current Government Regulations, appropriate ABBE qualifications and our Terms and Conditions.

Advertising Offers
Advertising costs are subject to type, size, placement and for a minimum period of 6 months. All offerings are subject to errors, omissions, change of prices or withdrawal of offers without notice.
Hipsurv have the sole rights to remove any advertising that is found to promote or link to any web site that advertises violence, drugs, pornography or any activity that is found to be illegal, racist or defamatory.
Payments
An invoice for any payments will be sent via email requesting amount payable. Payment must be received before insertion of any advertising or the release and posting of Home Information Packs.
Cancellation Refunds
A full refund of a payment is available up to 7 days after the date of payment and on condition that no home information pack has been dispatched, property visited or surveyed by a home inspector.
The refund payment for any cancellation will be made via the original payment method and on receipt of a letter confirming the cancellation request.
Reciprocal Links
All links to associated businesses are inserted within the context of the web site on approval. Hipsurv as the sole rights to include and exclude any link that does not conform or abide to UK laws on advertising. We will not accept any links that promote violence, sex, crime or any illegal act.
Links will only be inserted within the web site after the approval and insertion of our reciprocal link into any associated business web site page that as a direct link from it's home or index page.
